Contribution Terms

By making a contribution to Mike Sacks for Congress, you certify that:

You are a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
You are making this contribution with your own personal funds and not with funds provided by another person or entity.
You are not a federal contractor.
You are at least 18 years old, or if younger, you are making this contribution from your own funds and doing so knowingly and voluntarily.
You are not making this contribution in the name of another person or entity.

Contribution Limits

Federal law limits individual contributions to $3,300 per election (primary and general elections are considered separate elections). Contributions from corporations, labor unions, foreign nationals (except permanent residents), and federal contractors are prohibited.

Refund Policy

Contributions are generally non-refundable. However, we may issue refunds in cases of duplicate transactions, contributions that exceed legal limits, or contributions that cannot be legally accepted. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at info@mikesacksforcongress.com.

Handling of Impermissible Contributions

If Mike Sacks for Congress determines that a contribution is impermissible under federal law (such as a contribution from a prohibited source, an excessive contribution, or a contribution made in the name of another), we will take prompt remedial action as required by FEC regulations. This may include: (1) refunding the impermissible portion of the contribution to the contributor, (2) reattributing or redesignating the contribution if legally permissible and with proper authorization, or (3) disgorging the funds to the U.S. Treasury if the contributor cannot be located or the contribution cannot be lawfully returned.
