End the 'forever wars.' Stop investing in destruction and start investing in diplomacy.
Donald Trump is hastening democracy's retreat around the world. So while Republicans cheer on his allying with the world's autocrats, the People's House should be where the forces of freedom look for America's true moral authority.
The Sacks Agenda
- Audit the Pentagon. We cannot continue to write blank checks to defense contractors while failing to pass independent audits.
- Repeal the 2001 and 2002 Authorizations for Use of Military Force (AUMF) to restore Congressional authority over war.
- Stop arming human rights abusers. Enforce the Leahy Laws to ensure US weapons aren't used to commit war crimes.
- Support countries fighting to be free from terrorists and tyrants, and oppose democratic backsliding among our allied nations.
- Re-fund organizations dedicated to peace, public health, democracy promotion, the rule of law, and economic development that Trump defunded.
