The fight for civil rights is far from over. We are witnessing a concerted effort to turn back the clock on all of our hard-won liberties. We must stand firm in defense of equality for all.

- Pass the Equality Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, and gender identity.
- End qualified immunity for police officers to ensure accountability for civil rights violations.
- Codify disparate impact liability for federally-funded institutions to fight against policies with discriminatory effects.
- Protect transgender youth from state-level attacks on their healthcare and right to exist.
- Strengthen enforcement of existing civil rights laws and increase funding for the DOJ Civil Rights Division.
